Menstrual Health is a Woman’s guidance tool regarding where her physical, mental and spiritual state has been over the previous month(s).
It is “common” to have PMS symptoms, cramping, breast tenderness, heavy bleeding, night sweats, but it is not “normal”. If you were in complete balance you should have a menstrual cycle that comes and goes effortlessly.
Whether you are seeking to regulate hormonal activity, to help bring a new little one into the world, to balance postpartum or to transition into menopause, we can be here for you every step of the way. We ask that you start with manageable goals and then begin to ask others for help. Yes, asking for help. Something many of you reading this will need to gently develop skills in. Community heals, we know.
The type of care we provide can raise Serotonin levels, balance the Immune and Endocrine system and provide lasting results in Mental and Emotional Health.

A landmark German study that combined acupuncture with IVF, that was published in 2002 in the medical journal, Fertility and Sterility. This study garnered the attention of both acupuncturists and allopathic doctors.
Wanting to examine the effect of acupuncture on IVF, the German study included 160 women, who were undergoing IVF. Within this group, 80 women had acupuncture treatments before and after their embryo transfers. The other 80 women did not have any acupuncture treatments.
The results of the study are as follows:
IVF without Acupuncture
21 women pregnant
26.3% success rate
IVF with Acupuncture
34 women pregnant
42.5% success rate
If you’d like to read more about the acupuncture protocol and the results obtained with the 160 patients, you can view the published study by Wolfgang E. Paulus, M. D., Mingmin Zhang, M. D., Erwin Strehler, M. D., Imam El-Danasouri, Ph. D., and Karl Sterzik, M. D. at PubMed.
Since 2002, there have been a number of studies on the effect of acupuncture on IVF success rates in both Western medical journals and Chinese Medicine journals. In June 2007, the Journal of Chinese Medicine published an article by Lara Rosenthal and Belinda Anderson on Acupuncture and In Vitro Fertilization: Recent Research and Clinical Guidelines.
Chinese Medicine can help address hypo and hyperthyroidism that affect infertility. Also, it can support improved ovarian and follicular function. As well as being shown to increase blood flow to the endometrium to support a thick healthy lining.
Infertility cannot only take a toll on the body but also the relationship with yourself and your loved loves. Acupuncture can raise Serotonin levels so as to relax the nervous system and calm the mind while working to treat the rest of the body.
Sabrina has a gentle hand and views the treatment process as a partnership, where open lines of communication are key.
